Innnocent - K.

So difficult it is to let go of a loved one. Especially when there's so much innocence in his eyes.

We remember the best times we've ever had with them. We remember the long walks. We remember the times where we've simply spent time together.

We remember saving the innocent.
We remember holding them and telling ourselves that we we'll protect them no matter what happens. When little do we know that even if they can't speak to us, that they will protect us without fail.

They will be by our side in our moments of sadness. They will remain silent, and sit by you as you look into their eyes and wish they understood how you feel. Don't be fooled however, as they know full well how you feel. This is when they are the most loyal, next to you, and become YOUR rock in your difficult times.

They become a symbol of strength and protection when none existed. They accepted the role without even a blink.(sometimes trying to take out little people that might be in their way :-) )

They will forever remain family. They will remain in our hearts and memories forever. We will never forget them, and that is a promise.

They know you've saved them and for that, they will be forever thankful.
